My Needlepoint Sale now in Progress, till Tuesday afternoon

My traditional fall sale of new needlepoint designs is in progress from now until next Tuesday evening, a little over 2 days still to go.

To see the sale, travel to www.GayAnnRogers.com.

While you are there, be sure to stop and see antique needlework tools that notes antiques dealer Carolyn Meacham sold yesterday: a beautiful array of antique stilettos that we modern stitchers have re-purposed into laying tools, and a second grouping of general antique tools: some small antique scissors, a beautiful needle book and an extraordinary pincushion from 1820.

And stop and see my sewing case celebrating Eleanor of Aquitaine among other project I've designed.

Hope you enjoy it all!

Some Antique Needlework Tools on my Website and a Little Tale about Them

This very evening I posted a photo of some antique needlework tools on my website.

For some years now I have thought they were a slightly famous collection of needlework tools and I've asked my followers if anybody recognizes why I say this.

Now, I don't know for sure but I have some good evidence about them and I wish to present my story and let my followers be the jury.

To see the needlework tools and follow along in the next few days:

When I've laid out my case, I'll be back to ask for a verdict:
